Want To Make A Change ?

Therapy That Takes You From Awareness to Lasting Change

Does Any Of This Sound Familiar?

  • You carry more than your share at work and at home.

  • You're grieving something. It’s painful and confusing, and no one seems to really get what you’re going through.

  • You say yes before you even realize you wanted to say no.

  • Your relationships feel difficult, unsatisfying or overwhelming.

  • You know you need to change, but cannot seem to make the changes you want.

  • You suspect something from your past is interfering with your present.

  • The word 'burnout' once seemed dramatic. Now it feels accurate.

  • You're the one everyone leans on and you're quietly falling apart.

I'm Ruth Weinberg, a Denver therapist with 14 years of private practice experience. I help clients move beyond talking about change and begin living the life they want. Meet Ruth…

The Plan

Here's how we work together

01

We start
where you are

We’ll begin by exploring what’s happening in your life right now. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing and what you’re wanting to move towards. Maybe you’re feeling anxious, burned out, frustrated by a relationship or consumed with grief. I will provide validation and support as we discuss which strategies you’ve already tried - both helpful and unhelpful- and begin to create an effective path forward.

02

We find your road

We’ll work together to find the approaches that fit for you. For some, that includes methods such as EMDR or IFS that support emotional regulation. For others, it is grounding and mindfulness and others it is having space to talk through patterns and experiences. It may involve rethinking what self-care looks like. Often, it’s a combination.

03

You start living the life you want

As you take action based on our sessions, you will begin to see and feel the changes you desire. Instead of just being aware of what you want to change, you will see that you are experiencing the changes in your thinking, behavior, and relationships.

Doing it all on your own?

What would it be like to have the guidance and support of someone who understands?
